welcoming the new year | 2015

Hello fellow viewers!

HAPPY NEW YEAR! I hope you have all had a wonderful 2014 *disco dances* (wow, time sure does fly past...)

It's already the 11th??
So, its that time of the year again where we all write down our new year's resolutions (which most of us end up breaking. Surprise, surprise!). Since I can never stay committed to any of the resolutions I set for myself, I decided to just make a list of goals which I'll strive to achieve during 2015.

Stay organised with a calendar! This one acts as a cute pen holder as well :)

List of goals which I will strive to achieve during 2015 (and probably fail nonetheless)
  • Post (regularly) on instagram.
  • Read more books. (I've actually set myself a goal on Goodreads!)
  • Pass my piano exam with a nice grade (preferably an A... ya know)
  • Art. (Well more of it.)
  • Actually study for tests.
  • Take more pictures ._. (and try and put up with the poopy camera I have)
  • Exercise. (which is most likely never going to happen.)
  • Annoy Lena as much as possible (by not achieving the first goal)
  • Try not to stress or over-think as much
  • Improve my posture. (I have the posture of a banana. Kidding. But pretty close.)
  • Stop crossing my legs all the time (I've heard it's bad for your blood flow)
  • Keep posting on this blog!
  • And last but certainly not least...
STOP PROCRASTINATING. NOW.

Now you can enjoy this picture of a happy little bear! (You may recognize this from somewhere...)

I would love to see your resolutions/goals so please feel free to leave some in the comments below :D

See you soon!

recent reads || december

Sharing some of the books that I have read recently, as well as a few I am currently reading :)

To All the Boys I Have Loved Before by Jenny Han ☆☆
Despite having a rather shallow story line, with the plot not moving very quickly, I enjoyed this book as I found the characters realistic and somewhat relatable. To be completely honest though, the ending was abrupt and definitely needed more to it.

Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell
I love how this story connected the nature of real world fandoms with story world. The main character in this book, Cath, is a reputable fanfiction writer (I found that the books she writes about are quite similar to Harry Potter! :D) and faces real life struggles in college.

Diary of A Wimpy Kid- The Long Haul by Jeff Kinney
Hilarious as usual. I really love this series. xD

I'll Give You The Sun by Jandy Nelson
I've only just started reading this, but it seems to be an interesting read, with an interesting structure. The beginning centres around Noah and his twin sister, Jude, with Noah being an artistic yet introverted person, and we venture into the realms of Noah's imagination, which conflicts with reality.

Girl Online by Zoe Sugg
Again, I've only started this yesterday (as of when this was written) so I do not have much to judge, but this story seems to be a typical, cliche'd story line of a teenage girl falling in love. However, the popularity of this novel is due to the author, a well-known YouTuber who I adore! Yes, there is lots of controversy about who actually wrote the book, yet I am still looking forward to reading this, as cliche's are one of my guilty pleasures. xD I recieved this book as a Christmas present as well, which makes it even more special :)

What have you been reading lately? Let me know in the comments below :D

See you!

2014, it's been a blast!

Hello! ^_^

It's school break for us Aussies right now, which means hours of lazing around and doing nothing. Well, that's the case for me anyway... So I thought it would be a good idea to make use of my time and write a blog post, summing up the year of 2014.

Bubble Panda's was created in January of this year, mainly out of boredom and the urge to try something new. Owning a blog was exciting yet intimidating, and at first, the pressure to post regularly kind of got to me. We've been through ups and downs and a hiatus which we have fought through and now manage to post weekly!

Here's a collage of all the photos we'e taken during this year, and each picture is featured in a blog post.

Here's a bunch of hand-picked photos from our blog!

Looking back at the blog, we've come a long way! To view our blog posts, just click on the archive on the right of the blog and browse through!

We hope you had a merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and watch out for more blog posts  in the upcoming year!

Stay fabulous!
